lightning-and-a-lightning-bug:
I figured now would be as good as time as any to post all of the diversity I saw between couples at Lydia’s party.
OH MAI ;3
This, this is what Jeff meant when he said he didn’t want an ‘issues-driven’ show, but instead wanted to holistically include everyone in his show!
I love that man.
via derekstilinskiTEEN WOLF IS A GREAT SHOW, OKAY.
tag=true. God, I’m not even a tiny bit surprised that this is all it takes for fandom to dismiss that massive vomit of racism (not to mention the racism on the actual show itself). Look, we saw an interracial couple and some queers for literally one second each! All is forgiven, Jeff! Not that fandom at large gave a shit in the first place.
But gosh, it’s kind of funny how “holistically” means “barely and just the tiniest bit and usually offensively” now. I had no idea they’d changed the meaning!
I mean, you know what really gets to me is that this shit, all this casual background everyday stuff, it IS meaningful, culturally, to me personally, and if it wasn’t for that fucking commentary I could have felt good about it. And now I feel like it’s been stolen by that gross awful person up there.
#teen wolf #your fandom is the worst #the fucking worst #racism #and for that matter #homophobia #because i’m kind of sick of being informed by straight people #that danny and two couple making out in the background for a split second #deserve my undying unquestioning queer gratitude
That is very reasonable. :/
I’m only on the very very very outermost edges of Teen Wolf fandom, but — this is not the way to be a fan of problematic things, people! :/ :/
